The Nike Air Presto Anthracite is one of those rare gems in the running shoe world. For a mid-priced running shoe that feels great and does the job, you have to look no further than the Air Presto. This shoe has been around for quite some time, and I can say from experience that they are fairly well made and provide a good all around run.
What sets this running shoe apart from the others is its construction. Using premium leather for the uppers, Nike has managed to create a cushioning layer that feels great while still providing exceptional support. The air-flow mesh allows maximum ventilation while keeping noise away. There are also some interesting materials used to make the laces, such as light metal hemp. The light metals have been found to be extremely light, yet provide high strength. The soft yet packing materials to keep your feet dry and cool, even on a hot day.
There is a wide range of colors available, including black, white, and red. The black version is my favorite, because it works so well with everything else and gives a nice contrast to the white. The white version is great if you want a little bit of color, but not too much. On the other hand, the red is great if you are trying to stand out in a crowd. While these might not be the best shoes for competitive running, they are a great addition to any workout because they are so comfortable and light.
